ایران میں مظاہروں کو شروع ہوئے 100 دن ہو چکے ہیں۔
Protests in
Iran started after the arrest and killing of Mahsa Amini by the people of Ambar
al-Maruf and are still going on in many parts of Iran.
عنبر المعروف کے لوگوں کے ہاتھوں مہسہ امینی کی گرفتاری اور قتل کے بعد ایران میں مظاہرے شروع ہوئے اور اب بھی ایران کے کئی علاقوں میں جاری ہیں۔
The
protesters were demanding fundamental changes in their living conditions and in
the government system of this country.
مظاہرین اپنے حالات زندگی اور اس ملک کے نظام حکومت میں بنیادی تبدیلیوں کا مطالبہ کر رہے تھے۔
Women, youth
and students were at the forefront of this movement.
خواتین، نوجوان اور طلبہ اس تحریک میں سب سے آگے تھے۔
The Wasni
protests are considered the biggest against the government in Iran. The
protests are widely supported by Iranians living abroad. Similarly, the
governments of different countries and important political, social, scientific
and artistic personalities have expressed their solidarity with him.
وسنی مظاہروں کو ایران میں حکومت کے خلاف سب سے بڑا احتجاج سمجھا جاتا ہے۔ مظاہروں کو بیرون ملک مقیم ایرانیوں کی بھرپور حمایت حاصل ہے۔ اسی طرح مختلف ممالک کی حکومتوں اور اہم سیاسی، سماجی، سائنسی اور فنی شخصیات نے ان کے ساتھ اظہار یکجہتی کیا ہے۔
Hundreds
of people have been killed and thousands more have been arrested in the
violence of the government forces with the protesters. Some actions of these forces
against the protestors were unprecedented and faced severe criticism at home
and abroad. The Iranian government's actions against the protesters have been
criticized internationally. In a special session, the United Nations Security
Council appointed a fact-finding mission to assess human rights violations.
Also, Iran's membership in the UN Women's Commission was withdrawn.
مظاہرین کے ساتھ حکومتی فورسز کے تشدد میں سیکڑوں افراد ہلاک اور ہزاروں کو گرفتار کر لیا گیا ہے۔ مظاہرین کے خلاف ان قوتوں کے کچھ اقدامات بے مثال تھے اور انہیں اندرون و بیرون ملک شدید تنقید کا سامنا کرنا پڑا۔ مظاہرین کے خلاف ایرانی حکومت کے اقدامات کو بین الاقوامی سطح پر تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا جا رہا ہے۔ ایک خصوصی اجلاس میں، اقوام متحدہ کی سلامتی کونسل نے انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزیوں کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے ایک فیکٹ فائنڈنگ مشن مقرر کیا۔ اس کے علاوہ اقوام متحدہ کے خواتین کمیشن میں ایران کی رکنیت بھی واپس لے لی گئی۔
During this
period, internet connections were weakened in many places and the internet was
cut off in some areas.
اس دوران کئی جگہوں پر انٹرنیٹ کنیکشن کمزور ہو گئے اور کچھ علاقوں میں انٹرنیٹ منقطع ہو گیا۔
On the other
hand, US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken said that the international
community is paying serious attention to the ongoing situation in Iran.
"International attention has been drawn to what is happening all over
Iran. We are also concerned about the Iranian government's firing on peaceful
protests in Iran, especially women and children."
دوسری جانب امریکی وزیر خارجہ انتھونی بلینکن نے کہا کہ عالمی برادری ایران میں جاری صورتحال پر سنجیدگی سے توجہ دے رہی ہے۔ "پورے ایران میں جو کچھ ہو رہا ہے اس کی طرف بین الاقوامی توجہ مبذول کرائی گئی ہے۔ ہمیں ایران میں پرامن احتجاج خصوصاً خواتین اور بچوں پر ایرانی حکومت کی فائرنگ پر بھی تشویش ہے۔"
The US
foreign minister added, "We are witnesses of the collective judgments, we
saw the constructed courts, we saw the executions, not only us, but the eyes of
the world saw it."
امریکی وزیر خارجہ نے مزید کہا کہ ہم اجتماعی فیصلوں کے گواہ ہیں، ہم نے بنی ہوئی عدالتیں دیکھیں، پھانسیاں دیکھیں، نہ صرف ہم نے بلکہ دنیا کی آنکھوں نے دیکھا۔
Now that 100
days have passed, it is not clear how long these protests will continue. Two
people have been executed on the charges of these protests, which have provoked
widespread reactions. There are reports that Iranian courts may sentence other
people to the same sentence.
اب جبکہ 100 دن گزر چکے ہیں، یہ واضح نہیں ہے کہ یہ احتجاج کب تک جاری رہے گا۔ ان مظاہروں کے الزام میں دو افراد کو پھانسی دے دی گئی ہے جس پر بڑے پیمانے پر ردعمل سامنے آیا ہے۔ اطلاعات ہیں کہ ایرانی عدالتیں دیگر افراد کو بھی یہی سزا سن سکتی ہیں۔
